Introduction
Prepare to enter one of the bloodiest and longest battles of the Eastern Front. Begin the battle in August of 1942 and try to prevent Stalingrad from falling into German hands. Fight in a city practically reduced to rubble with citizens fleeing and barbwire as far as the eye can see.
Gameplay
This scenario does not in anyway resemble a normal scenario. There have been massive overhauls done to several units in the game, so be forewarned how you usually conduct yourself in battle will not be effective in this scenario.
You begin the scenario with a small force of Soviet units; your goal is to conquer the city back from the Germans. Throughout the city there are 6 strategic points a flag symbolizes each point. It takes six units to capture a point. To take control of the city you must control all 6 of these points. However, the same also goes for the German forces. If they control all 6 points they take control of Stalingrad. If you successfully take control of all six points you will have defeated the Germans and subsequently won the scenario. If the Germans control all 6 points they are the victors.
During the game a menu screen will constantly meet you. This screen allows you to choose your reinforcements. You have five choices when it comes to what kind of division you want.
- Light Infantry: This division is composed of a lot quick moving units
- Heavy Infantry: This division is composed of a moderate amount of slow moving heavy infantry units.
- Anti Infantry: This division contains units who have the express purpose of countering infantry divisions.
- Tank: This division is the only division that contains the tank unit.
- Anti Tank: The sole purpose of this division is to counter tank divisions.
The German forces will also be receiving reinforcements in the form of divisions. However, due to their superiority in weapons and numbers the reinforcements they received will be far more substantial then the Soviet ones.

If you choose the button post comment, you can post a comment on a campaign or scenario without having to post a review.
If you accidentally skipped the cinematic where the commander dies, you could have triggered something like this. That is the only time in the game when the Soviets are allied with Germans. That wouldn’t stop the scoring system though. I am completely baffled as to what is going on, to be completely honest.
Try playing the scenario again; I don’t think you will see a repeat of what happened.

General_Commando, only 1 star?T his campaign dont like me (it is only a personal opinion) but in deserves more than 1 star. Intrepid made a big work recreating the city and the campaign have a lot of interesant triggers that only an expert designer can create. If you cant win is not a reason to rate it with 1 star, you should be more imparial and think that if you cant win is because you are bad playing or because it is not your scenario style. |

The creativity is based more on the level than subject, and there's lots of info under 'History' isn't there? |

Did actually play this map? Are you sure you are not mistaking my Stalingrad map for another Stalingrad map you played? Zukov does not make an appearance anywhere in this campaign, I provided a lot of information about the war and the history of the weapons used in the war and there is one overarching mission, and 5 different side missions in the campaign. |

This scenario was really fun. I had initial difficulty at the start, but i gained the upper hand quickly. The Soviet troops were very accurate, because I have studied World War 2 in great detail.
Could be more detailed in terms of story, but impressive still.
One improvement would be to control the pincer counterattacking forces which the Red Army used to envelop Stalingrad.[Edited on 01/23/06 @ 02:44 PM]

That was the best scenario I have downloaded. Much better than the default EE scenarios. I wonder if its possible to add your own speach. That'd be cool. Anyway, great work, could you do another WWII one? |

THE Best Stalingrad Campaign that I`ve seen out here! You`ve used an amazing amount of time and effort in doing the ma, every detail is amazingly fantastic, the map actually gives you that feelijng that you`re in the middle of a war.
Fantasticly done! |
