Introduction
Prepare to enter one of the bloodiest and longest battles of the Eastern Front. Begin the battle in August of 1942 and try to prevent Stalingrad from falling into German hands. Fight in a city practically reduced to rubble with citizens fleeing and barbwire as far as the eye can see.
Gameplay
This scenario does not in anyway resemble a normal scenario. There have been massive overhauls done to several units in the game, so be forewarned how you usually conduct yourself in battle will not be effective in this scenario.
You begin the scenario with a small force of Soviet units; your goal is to conquer the city back from the Germans. Throughout the city there are 6 strategic points a flag symbolizes each point. It takes six units to capture a point. To take control of the city you must control all 6 of these points. However, the same also goes for the German forces. If they control all 6 points they take control of Stalingrad. If you successfully take control of all six points you will have defeated the Germans and subsequently won the scenario. If the Germans control all 6 points they are the victors.
During the game a menu screen will constantly meet you. This screen allows you to choose your reinforcements. You have five choices when it comes to what kind of division you want.
- Light Infantry: This division is composed of a lot quick moving units
- Heavy Infantry: This division is composed of a moderate amount of slow moving heavy infantry units.
- Anti Infantry: This division contains units who have the express purpose of countering infantry divisions.
- Tank: This division is the only division that contains the tank unit.
- Anti Tank: The sole purpose of this division is to counter tank divisions.
The German forces will also be receiving reinforcements in the form of divisions. However, due to their superiority in weapons and numbers the reinforcements they received will be far more substantial then the Soviet ones.

Unfortunately you have not supplied me with your email address so I’ll just do the write up here.
The “rocket launcher” or Katashuya is just an enlarged flak truck with zero range and a slow speed. It is given a range of zero so it cannot use its actually attack. Tasked to the flak truck are several grenade launcher units of a different player. A different player is used so that they can attack the enemy without the enemy being able to attack them. The grenade launchers are shrunk so that they are invisible, given a high max velocity and then told to be constantly tasked to the flak truck. What happens is, is that the grenade launchers follow the truck around and fire upon enemies that approach. Since the grenade launchers are always so close to the truck, it looks like (sometimes) that the rockets are coming from the truck.
I hope that helped.

No, it was a real rocket launcher truck used by the Soviets during World War II. |

WOW! This campaign rocked man. The map was awesome, and I can only wish I had to patience to achieve it in my own works. I must ask though, can you explain to me how you got the sniper to shoot that guy in slow motion. That was cool! I just want to see if I can create anything like it. Don't worry, though, I won't steal it. Please e-mail me the instructions at Richsykopath@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance.

I've truly enjoyed playing this scenario.
The map design creates the aura of panic and confusion wich there was during the battle for Stalingrad. I also the way the katyusha Rocket truck looked. And the music,..., the intro on the melody of 'the unforgiven' by metallica.
Brief, This is a BEAUTIFULL scenario! |

The Unforgiven by Metallica was also the first piece of music ever used in an Scnpunk scenario. So I thought it was fitting to use classical instrumental only version of the song for this scenario. |

I cant rate this sceanarioon because i havent played but i want to real badly, but when i try to put the file in the sceanario folder for my empire earth, i start the game and nothing is in the play sceanario folder. So then i go back to te folder using "my computer" and go to empire earth folder and check in the sceanario folder and the stalingrad file is there, and so i continue to check in the game, and look in the play sceanario folder and the stanlingrad game kin not there, so basically in game the file in not there but when checkiing the file using "my computer"(meaning the file) and going to empire earth file and then sceanarios it is there. I tried downloading the file over and over again and doing the same procedure but i get the same results, i did the same with Empire earth AOC, but still it doesnt work, can anyone tell what might be going wrong and how i can fix or what i am doing wrong, i would greatly appreciate it. |

Place the file in the campaign folder, this is a custom campaign not a scenario. |

A great scenario! I loved it!
Playability: Excellent, but a bit easy. I beat it the first time by just holding onto one flag and letting the Germans come and attack me while procrastinating when I would attack the Germans. It is very appealing though, and always had me playing it again.
Creativity: This was probably the best part of the scenario. You have made ordering reinforcements easy through your system, and the modifications to the units made my strategies a lot more different after playing it. You excel in this area of work.
Map Design: I think this was very good because of the way you incorporated all the buildings and terrain to make a ruined city that reminded me of Russia. I think you did let it down in the forests outside of the city, but of course, that area does not need to be seen, so my praise still stays.
Story/Instructions: This was easily a well put together part of the scenario. It was introductive and described the way you should play the game. It also had very helpful hints and some descriptive history, so a job well done.
Conclusion: You have obviously worked very hard on this scenario, and you deserve every single bit of praise given to you by everyone. Keep up the excellent work! |

The scenario actually adjusts its difficulty level to how you are playing, so generally almost anyone should be able to beat it on their first try if they put a decent amount of effort into playing the scenario. Taking a passive stance probably decreased the amount of reinforcements the Germans were receiving each round. |
