*UPDATE 2.0*
The Anatolian War
This is the seventh and final installment of the Levantine Campaign. This is, by far, the largest and most detailed scenario I've created.
This scenario has well over 400 triggers, and is split up into several chapters across a large map
If you do not know the story of the Levantine Campaign, I suggest starting at the beginning. The scenarios are as follows
The Siege of Acre
The Conquest of Jerusalem
The Defense of Rhodes
The Battle of Bapheus
The Nicene Creed
The Battle of Antalya Bay
The Anatolian War
Special thanks to Empire Creations and Shieldwolf in particular. (Hope you find your Easter egg, Shield.)

This is a fantastic scenario which will take you a few hours to finish. The map is also massive in size and it is understandable that it has taken Tek quite some time to finish it. Many of my comments are nitpicky as where is little to complain about.
Playability: 5
Triggers work as intended. Everything is great here. Only a perfect 5 is desevered. The fact that the Mongol commander gives you three choices which will change the course of the scenario give you extra playability. You will play a lot of different game modes playing through the scenario.
Balance: 4.5
I was playing on medium and I would say that the balance is good. It is a bit difficult in some places and you have to use your knowledge of EE to finish win. In a few places (in the end and the beginning) a few segments was a bit to difficult in my opinion.
Creativity: 5
Creativity is an easy 5. The fact that important and less important units are rename in strange and interesting ways are an important touch. When I saw citizens collecting wood from the dead trebuchet I was laughing. It is so creative and honestly ingenious. The scenarios has really come a long way since the early days. The fact that you can talk to herald around the map is also such a good idea.
Map Design: 4.6
The maps is absolutely massive and there is a lot of details all over the map. Tek has used all terrain types and mix them nicely. Also he used different colour for terrain to make the it more interesting. My only complaint is that there are a lot of cliffs, but not that many hills. Also some terrain is a bit weird at a few places, but it is understandable as it is a huge map. Like the fact that there are a lot of places where grass is used instead of underwater terrain/beach.
Story/Instructions: 4.8
The story is fantastic and detailed. The cinematics are great. The instructions are also clear which I really like. Where are some grammatical errors, but I will not deduct points from that. The only thing I find a bit strange is the fact that nowhere is there any point after any sentence.
Additional Comments:
This is a great scenario to finish to the entire Leventine Campaign and I will recommend anyone to download this scenario. You do not need to have played the other scenarios in the campaign. You have done a fantastic job Tek. |

Thank you very much for playing and for your detailed review. I'm really enthused that you and others are still playing and designing |

Playability: 5
A solid trigger work that makes the gameplay progression smooth as placid lake. Replayability too is more than guaranteed (I have played the campaign at least 3 times, to varying success). You will enjoy this one, I promise!
Balance: 4.8
I played on HARD, and chose the Mongol's 3rd option. That said, I have reloaded countless of times, getting the right tactic to work on. (The joy of finding the Easter egg, only to lose that same Easter egg less than 5 minutes after is a roller-coaster ride of frustration hahaha)
One deduction is there because there are acts that are just plain horrific to play through, although the satisfaction you get once you surpass them is definitely worth the pain.
Another point deducted for having fixed forces that can be lured to ambushes (although yes, that is the AI's fault).
All in all, if you play in lesser difficulties, I believe it would balance things out.
Creativity: 5
The way tek set the pieces moving in previous installments only to climax on this particular campaign just tells you how creative the guy is! You'll be playing this particular scenario like an end-game puzzle that once finished, just gives you a satisfaction for the art that it really is.
Map Design: 5
Never a dull area, the map design is stellar and realistic. Gives the impression of a vast land with resources to exploit and tactics to maneuver into. A perfect one, amigos.
Story/Instructions: 5
n easy 5. I have always admired tek's world-building, and this, my friends, is tek's best work yet. The storylines merge well, the dialogues are lyrical and poetic: just plain beautiful to hear! I also believe that this is a Profession of Faith too. And what a lovely way to do so, tek.
Additional Comments:
This is Tek's crowning achievement so far! Hours you will pour playing this gem will be worth it! |

Its unbelievable how good this is. I played all the other levantine campaign scenarios too. This here is probably the best i have played from this forum. I can see that you spent sooo much time creating this. I hope there will be more, hell i`d even give you money for it :P :D
