Greetings Gentleman
The one speaking to you rigth now is Henrique Dâmaso - and i bring you today one thing than many people in this community would like: an WW1 Realistic Roleplay Scenario set in the World War 1 time with realistic diplomatic system, as well as a lot new freatures to be added (including an border system).
Its for 8 players, and player names are the following: France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary
Every single nation has own diferent units from everyone else, wich becomes the game more startegical in terms of diplomatic relations if you are an week nation like Bulgaria or Russia..
Diplomatic system is diferent as well - currently, you can only declare war or ally to other nations. But in the future, you migh make trades, peace, and much more! Teams are locked, so in order for you to ally someone, or war, you will need to create an diplomat and bring him to his govermental residence. Then, once you there, you type in the chat (your nation) ally/war (other nation). Then, the foreging nation eigther replies if he wants to ally to you or not by saying yes/not (your nation name)
Lets say we play as the Germans and we want to ally Austria-Hungary:
I create a diplomat on Germany, then i sent it to the Austrian Goverment residence, and then i type on the chat: Germany ally Austria-Hungary
(NOTE: you have to have your diplomat selected! otherwise it wont work: he has to be on other nation residence, and selected by you)
Austria will receive the prupose, and if he types: yes Germany wile he selects his goverment building, then we get a deal.
Declaration of war is done the same way: you bring the diplomat to Austrian capitol, select it, and type: Germany war Austria - Obviously after that, you are in open wars with him since he doesnt need to eigther acept or reject a war.
This is just about 50% of what this scenario is meant to be - there is still a lot of work to be done like making a proper border system in wich you cannot tresspas other nations border winout permition or a war, or making other neutral computer nations bein anexed under the banner of your nation.
(file is already on .ees mode, you just need to download and put it on your saved games folder)
Have fun people! :)

Love the idea. Quick try on single player (scenario .scn). One problem I ran into was population, only allowing 200 so. I would love the ability to try the other nations to see what stuff they have, but no ability unless play multiplayer. Perhaps you could include some documentation in the download? A text documenting detailing each nation. Also the chat commands, say ally, war, future trade commands, etc. |

From 2014, I assume you've 'giving up' on your project which had great potential.
: France perspective :
I tested this as single player in the scenario editor, so I only saw things from a French perspective. I found it interesting to see France's available units & buildings. I'm interested to see what the other civilizations offer also.
Whilst I understand this is beta, I know one big issue - animals & their AI. Some scenarios have a culling trigger so when animals breed too much, it kills some off. |
