The game does put forth a miss-representation of Alexander the Great. He was one of the best military warriors of all time. I dont think the red baron or any flying heroes would work well, you need a stationary hero. Also the game is very European biased when it comes to heros from dark age on.

Yeah and you know that this is huge in the Asian market espeacially in Japan, I guess that is why they are making the new space age campaign take place in Asia, but in any event I really think Genghis and Kublai Kahn should be heros, if you put together the LARGEST land empire ever wouldnt you want to be considered a hero?

So why limit the number of heroes to 2 each epoch? Would it not be very simple to design more heroes that are available? Sure, new units mean new models, but I don't think it'd be too tough to do that...

lol Ace, that is true, all religions were extremely intolerant of others. Really, they should have more than just 2 heros available per epoch. And about Richard, he was a great general and warrior, but I'd like to see someone like William Wallace there, someone who fought for a more just cause and faced much tougher circumstances.

Yes, but you have to give Wallace some credit because he was born a peasant not a noble like Robert the Bruce. Do you know how hard it was to rise up against social orders and do what he did, especially in Scotland??? Extremely difficult. I bet William and Robert were equally good warriors and Wallace did show a strategic mind, he didnt just run up in a mad fury into the enemy. He used formations and called in delayed strategic attacks. Wallace didnt actually free the Scotts, it was Robert the Bruce, but Wallace initially inspired the Scotts with his great devotion and courage. Morale and inspiration are invaluably important.
