I've got this idea of a great forum game from a guy at EEP(Empire Earth Planet). The rules are very simple, but please read them all before playing!

These are the new rules of the game!
The following 4 numbers are present: 1 3 4 7

Using these four numbers you have to create equations that their answers are whole numbers. These are examples of things you can do with these numbers:

Addition 1+3=4
Subtraction 3-1=2
Multiplication 4x3=12
Division 4:2=2 or 4/1=4
Power 34=81
Fractions 1x3/4=0.75
You can also add numbers togather like this -> 2 and 3 make 23.

You can use each of the four numbers only ONCE.

I'll start the game off by creating the first three numbers.

1 = 1(3-4+2)
2 = (7-4)/3+1
3 = 1[4-(7-3!)]

Little last minute rule: You can only post one answer per post and you cannot post right after yourself, you must wait untill someone else posts.

Aren't square roots allowed?

And can we just skip the trivial ones like 32, 41, 42, 43 etc.

32 = 2(4+1)
