Empire Earth 2 - Alternate Game Settings



TheGoodEvil's Cool Gamepace Settings


This slows down gather rates, decreases attack damage for both units and buildings, decreases health by a little, increases time it takes to gather tech points, increases time it takes to research techs, and decreases move speed.

Use the edit button beside the Game Pace setting to bring up an edit screen, the change the parameters to play these sets and please write your opinions on them in this thread.

Here they are...

Unit Production time = 0.50
Tech point gather rate = 1.30
Building construction time = 1.00
Capture resistance = 1.00
Health = 0.90
Conversion Resistance = 1.00
Resource Gather rate 0.50
Tech research time = 2.00
Build cost = 1.00
Move speed = 0.80
Epoch up cost = 1.00
Damage = 0.50

These settings are designed to:
  • Prevent extreme resource collection
  • Make Micro easier
  • Prevent unit spamming
  • Makes expansion more viable
  • Makes tech decision more important
  • Makes epoching up more of a factor

Let me know how these settings work for you. please tell me what you like and dislike. these setting were put together by me and tested by me in SP and Mokon in MP. we both found them to be best for creating a more enjoyable experience.
