This is a seek and destroy scenario that takes place during Operation Enduring Freedom. Your forces are very limited but deadly if used properly against a large enemy. Your goal is to get your tiny Delta Force to meet up with the Northern Alliance and then direct your limited air resources to smash Al Qaida and Taliban forces. When your airpower has proven its worth, the Northern Alliance will join you in the assault on the city of Taloqan.
The intro cinematic will get you in the mood to kill all terrorists. Caution and precision is the key to victory. Save often and enjoy my first EE scenario.
Put the 3 .civ files in the appropriate EE Civ folder
Put the .scen and .jpeg in the scenario folder
Put the .wav file in the Sound folder
This is for the original EE disk, NOT THE EXPANSION
Playability: Excellent, very challenging! It took me like 6 times to beat it. You are given limited forces and must use them wisely to win. As the author states, save often...he is not lying :)
Creativity: Excellent also. The Manhatten and Taliban cities were designed nicely and the simulated world trade center attack was excellent. Forces were setup in good positions. They had snipers hiding in different places that are hard to kill. Furthermore, the hero used for Osama Bin Laden looked nearly like him.
Map Design: Map was excellent, rocky hills and cliffs that were hard to cross. Forests and other areas that created a good path through the game.
Story/Inst: Perfect. Tells you exactly what you need to do to win and gives valuable hints. Also some added in history section was good.
This is an excellent fixed force scenario. I think it sets an example of how scenarios like this should be created. Only thing I noticed was if you skip the cinimatic (after losing and restarting), the map becomes revealed. So that cinimatic should be watched out each time. As far as the author stating it is his first scenario for EE, this is impressive. Excellent job!

I found this scenario a bit strange...
Playability: This scenario WAS HARD. After 6 or 7 times I only got past the horowitz and the tank. I beat it after about a million goes. I think the author wants to give a bit of a challenge, but I think this was a bit over the top. I also didn't really find it all that exciting either. Maybe try a bit harder to make a more diverse scenario next time. Sorry.
Creativity: This was pretty good. I liked the World Trade Centres bit and the way you made it very switchy - one moment you were in America, the next in Afaghainstan. Good work.
Map Design: This was a bit disapointing. I think you could have added a bit more elevation and design - it was just a desert path traced by trees. I think you could have done very well in this scenario and with your map design if you add elevation and different ways to close of other pathes, like cliffs or rivers.
Story/Instructions: This was quite good. I always knew what I had to do and whento do it. I just think next time put a bit more effort into you're scripting.
Conclusion: A good scenario that is worth the download, but I think it was a bit disappointing in some aspects.

ok, its well exlpained
whoa, nearly immposible, i think you have to get behind the buildings and shoot for hours to win this.
Ive seen others, plus it wasnt all that fun due to the extreme hardness and linearness.
Map Design: 3
I dont see what people are talking about for detail. Try downloanding "VIetnam" by me if you want to see detail.
This is the best part of the scen. The movie before hand, and all the info, perfect. But i dont really like how if the Taliban attacks in Afganistan would be called a "terrorist attack"
