WildCountry2.rmv - Has resourses clumped near your start areas like a plains style map
This map has Medium large forests and a few lakes. Usualy your start area is moderately surrounded by forest. There are usualy 3 or 4 passes through the forest leaving your start location. Somtimes though one side may not have forest Luck of the draw and makes it interesting.
1 pile of stone each 3 to 4 piles of gold and 3 to 4 piles of iron each.
there is One more stone pile out and about as well as 1 or 2 gold and iron piles. The passes formed by the forest and lakes makes for stratigic deffences and attack pathes. the lakes can be verry effective
deffence in higher ages with tridents and what not plus the abillity to fish.
Changes since original version:
1) 1 stone pile each.
2) 1 extra stone pile in rnd location I mean 1 not 1 each this way if u wish to tower up the entrances heavily you will have to fight for the extra stone pile that makes it strategic.
3) Moved the other resources out a bit so they are closer to the trees allowing more room to farm.
4) The 2 berry patches moved closer to TC so that if you play unexplored you will see them at start and they are gone later so area can be used as farmland.
5) Reduced trees by a % or 2 just to open it up a little and I mean a little.
Unzip it to C:/Sierra/Empire Earth/Data/Random Map Scripts
This map works with the expansion as well.
but it has to be put in the
C:/Sierra/Empire Earth - The Art of Conquest/Data/Random Map Scripts directory

There is a myth out there that maps downloaded from this site dont work online.
I Beg to Differ they do!!
Problem: not all players have the map installed correcty. If the file is unziped while the game is running. You have to restart the game.
In any case the ones who go out of sync simply do not have it installed properly.
Wonderful textures. The styling of the land is excellent. The coasts are fun to play.
Only a bit more land chaos and mixed forests would be nice.
Bold has done a good job here - everyone who likes to play on athmospheric landscapes has to download this script.

good map to play fun and not unreasonable good for making a main base and fighting vicously for the last piles in the middle. Good incorporation for the lakes make for some very amazing games.

I am in awe of this map generator. I have to give it a 5.0 just for the fact that not only does it generate some awesome maps, but kudo's for the website with the preview maps to give you a sneak peak! Now I think maybe I should devote my website to EE and follow his lead!

My brother in Ohio and several friends have played this map over and over and over (you get the point)....again. The creator has done an excellent job in keeping us guessing at what type of terrain we are about to encounter. Since downloading this map we haven't played anything else other than islands. I have to give it 5.0....I have to go now, my base is under attack!
