The First Hanseatic War was first and foremost a conflict of trade. The Kalmar Union introduced a toll tax which made the Hanseatic League (the renaissance equivalent to the European Union) to declare war on the Kalmar Union.

I did not create the music - Fortuking did. He has remastered some of the original tracks. I have used a remastered version of "Time" for the briefing.[Edited on 06/07/22 @ 10:18 AM]

Playability: 5
A fun scenario worth your time! Trigger-work is flawless, and perfectly timed to lend well to gameplay.
Balance: 4.8
Played on Hard, and there were times I almost quit. However, with good strategy (and a certain historical timing), this scenario can be won.
Creativity: 5
As usual, we see the author's creativity shine here. His voice overs never gets old, and Fortuking's music adds a certain degree of nostalgia mixed with newness in it.
Map Design: 4.7
Nothing to complain about, and pretty to look at with various choke points and areas you can exploit strategically to win.
Story/Instructions: 4.9
Nitpicking, as always, for a couple of spelling mistakes.

Playability: 5
From beginning to end, the playability was smooth sailing. There were no glitches, no lag, and the naval tasks were uncharacteristically seamless
Balance: 5
I played on EASY. The scenario was in fact, easy, but for me that was perfect. Hanseatic War is a lot of fun - I especially enjoyed that you allowed for so many of the tech options to remain in the game. This offered a lot of fun options!
Creativity: 5
Perfect score again - this is a first-time topic being covered on EE Heaven (as far as I know). The audio files were a fun and much appreciated feature
Map Design: 4.3
On the whole, this is a very good map! Functionally the map was spot on. Terrain was pretty good. Eye candy was pretty good. I prefer that cities, nations, etc. have bases or portions that are more memorable or unique. In general, each city or nation looked very similar in terms of infrastructure and terrain
Story/Instructions: 4.9
For precisely the same reason as Shield, I deduct .1
You did a great job with succinct instructions, expansive history, valuable hints, and an enjoyable storyline!
Additional Comments:
Some of the best stuff on EE Heaven! Well done!

Playability: 5
It is really awesome, playability is like it should be.
Balance: 5
Everything is balanced nice, enemy seems to be OP sometimes but never mind, it is like it should be.
Creativity: 5
I have nothing to say but pure awesomness! It really feels like original EE scenario mission.
Map Design: 5
Everything is designed like it should be.
Story/Instructions: 5
You did pretty good job in this section.
Additional Comments:
This is one of the best of these new scenarios I played in last few years. What surprised me is that you included voices in cinematic and mission briefing. You did awesome job with that!
Last thing, make more of this scenarios :D

Thanks for the review Philla, Tek and Shield :) I did not expect to get three review. I am currently in the "I need inspiration phase" before working on something new |
