For years, your people have thrived on a small island in the Caribbean. The Arawak, as your people are called, are a peaceful tribe of fishermen, farmers, and have no knowledge nor need of weapons and war. But in one day, all this is about to change. The polar opposite or the Arawak, the Carib Tribe, move from island to island like a swarm of locusts, killing, murdering, and stealing everything in their path. They are feared throughout the Caribbean as barbaric cannibals, and they have descended upon the Arawak.
The Carib have established a military base a few miles south of your island. But they will meet tougher resistance than anything they have faced before. These Arawak will put tradition aside and prepare to fight for their very survival...

Playability: 4.8
The campaign had no glitches or trigger problems...exept one important one. The game never ended. After I defeated the caribs and the ending cinematic finished playing, I waited about two minutes before I quit. Nothing said that I was victorious, but I assumed I won anyways. Other than that everything else was good.
Balance: 3.8
The beginning was very challenging. I had no way of preparing for the non-stop carib attacks. Also the heavy resistance was a tad too much, but by then I had a strong enough defence to launch a counteroffensive. This may have been challenging, but it was a great test of skills and strategy, which I like. It required you to use a variety of techniques in order to defend your island. By the end, though, the overall balance was perfect. The battleship helped to balance out their resistance.
Creativity: 4.9
There have been many campaigns with similar gameplay, but not of this era of time. Also, renaming the troops was a nice touch most people wouldn't do. This is also one of the few campaigns about Native Americans, the first one about arowaks I believe. -0.1 For having similar gameplay to many other campaigns and having no unique special features.
Map Design: 4.5
The map was very well made. It accurately depicted the caribbean. SOme things that brought it down from a 5 were the small islands. They were not as well made as the larger islands, and very plain. You should put more small plants and rocks to make the islands look more realistc. Also, animals during playtesting move around, but not in the actual game. I suggest you rotate the animals to different angles and sides . Also there has to be more than one type of animal on an island. Instead of one island with tigers, one with elephants and one with horses, you should mix them up.
Story/Instructions: 4.5
The instructions and history were short, but it was enough to get you through the campaign. There were only a few word choice problems, but other than that nothing was wrong. I suggest for the hints section, you could add some tactical advice for those who may need some extra help to get them started (like me :P).
Additional Comments:
This campaign is excellent. What really drawn me to this campaign was because I am making a campaign about Native Americans as well :D It is a great campaign for challenging yourself. Oh and I think you should remove the tents and switch them with stone age houses. Those tents are too modern :) |

by the looks of it, and the review made by Mr. Unleash, i think your campaign is good. however, may i suggest you make your next scens in EE orig (not the expansion). that way, you'll have a broader downloads base. :) |

Thanks so much for the review, Mr. UNleash! I'll try to update that, though...you definitely should win if you destroy the buildings! :)
@Shieldwolf-- I would have made this in EE original, but, unfortunately, mine is glitched. Whenever I save in the scenario editor, the game freezes. I've lost quite a few scens like that...[Edited on 08/03/11 @ 01:22 PM]

I destroyed everything on the island, unless I was supposed to destroy the bronze tower on that separate island with the ores. |

Hmm...
I went over the victory trigger, but I don't see a bug. It goes, " Delay 17 secs, End-Cinematic, and Delay 18 Secs, Victory-Player 1."
The effect seems in order too. I'm not sure what's causing this... |

Maybe it's just me. Does anyone else have this problem?[Edited on 08/04/11 @ 10:58 PM]

I think I know what the problem is. Did you also set "Player 2 Defeated"? Player one can't win if Player 2 doesn't loose ;)[Edited on 08/20/11 @ 06:45 PM]
