This is an alternate history scenario taking place in the early 1990s. Tensions build between East and West; the Russians and Chinese ally themselves as North America and Western Europe do the same.

Before conflicts escalate, the west coast of North America becomes swarmed by unidentifiable lifeforms with incredible technology and numbers. Reports suggest that this invasion force has attacked Asia as well.

The player will be controlling the W.H.R. (Western Human Resistance) which is led by Silas Jagmin, Randolph Straud, Amos Black and Mick Garret.

Can you survive? Can you resist?

aleksandar_s A nice scenario, could not finish yet but I have to say that it is a bit difficult, Fun anyway.

When the campaign comes out, difficulty levels will be relative to user choice. This is currently considered the moderate or medium difficulty. I'm glad you like it and reviews are always appreciated

The Human Resistance by alteC teK is a creative scenario revolving around a hostile alien species' drive to conquer the planet and the heroic stand against them by remaining American and European military forces.


Playability: 4.7

Absolute replay value here. The player needs to think - and think well! - before devoting his units to an attack. Micro-management is necessary, although all-out attacks could give you quick results. You lose some points due to defeat triggers not firing when they should, specifically when a hero unit inside the helicopter is shot down (-.2) and with cyborgs being easy pickings of goliaths because the tanks outrange them (-.1)

Balance: 4.5

I have finished the scen around 1 hour 57 minutes, but don't let the time fool you! I have reloaded countless of times, thinking of strategy and tactics every time I click the button "Play Saved Game". Now, not many scenarios give me that experience, and I have played almost all scenarios in EEH. For veterans like me, this section will merit at least a 4.8, but I have lowered the score because newbies will definitely get a beating playing this scen. :)

Creativity: 5.0

The word, I suppose, is "oozing"... oozing with creativity. The changes in class-names and attributes complemented very well with the plot. Trigger works were smartly used - with constant surprises! - enhancing gameplay while conveying effectively the sense of both futility and hope in the struggle against the invaders.

Map Design: 4.7

Nicely created, functional and very much a factor during skirmishes against the enemy. Intelligent use of terrain in this scenario is a must! Reduced points though for the look of cliffs that somehow hampered gameplay, especially during the last portions of the scen.

Story/Instructions: 5.0

The stuff of science fiction! And a well-executed, beautifully crafted work of art, I say. The cinematics, the dialogues, the plot and the timing of the acts are superb! Just can't RESIST giving this a perfect score! :D

kakalxlax interesting, but a lil low at the beggening
i thought that the takeover of the earthbreaker wasnt the end so i did it using the heroes and 4 goliaths, i filled my base with troops hoping to use them later, also i didnt get what was the siege factory and fishing boats were doing there for due it wasnt any unit to produce there

scutari legion Another probability with this is that losing the transport copter doesn't cause you to lose. I lost it to some AA missile towers and I got stuck in the scen.
Thenoobfactor You know, a sherman with a cargo capacity, a low damage and high fire rate could easily pass for a bradley or other IFV. Just a suggestion, not a demand.
