Don't judge harshly, but please do judge, i already know i suck at scenario trigger editing and such, <-- flunks math
its the second scenario im going to use in my

campaign im working on, hopefully somewhere down the line i'll learn how to use basic triggers and effects.

but i think i made a decent scenario, i'm an idiot so i started with the Second scenario from the campaign, heres the story.

-UNSF- United Nations Security Forces

News Reporter:"The -UNSF- was attacked today by a group of Unknown assailants known only as G.Y.R.O. <-- (on the spot math flunking thinking right there for you) Now, the former UNSF company Used to specialize in the development of MCS's (Mechanical Combat Suits) but seems to have seceded from the UN, The military was overrun today by the overwhelming unmanned monstrosities inhabiting the former UNSF command point, Soriu Station.

Here's an exclusive with General Jack Cross:

Reporter: Sir, whats being done to help win back Soriu?

General Cross: We will be attempting some "negotiations" over the course of the next few days, i trust at the end of the "negotiations" they will see things our way.

Reporter: whats with the quotation marks? was that a threatening remark?

General Cross: ......

Reporter: you Do know the terrorists are probably listening to this as we speak?

General Cross: ...... damn ...... uhh .... uhh .......... hmm ...... !!! *takes off reporters top*

Reporter: WTF!!!!!!

General Cross: Enjoy!!! *Runs*

Reporter: pulls out a 9mm and starts chasing him topless.

^ proof of my boredom

PS: the AI sometimes changes its mood with each game, so thats kind of a bonus to not having scripts, triggers, etc.

EmpireMaster Don't worry if your not good at triggers straight away. My first scen invloved loads men from across the ages against a single prehistoric tribe which was literally 5 citizens and a capitol.

Basically what I'm saying is work hard practice and you'll get it.

well, i just tried it today and the AI messed up because the pop limit or something, it kept pulling back to a cyber factory i placed, idk if someone edited it (since i play on a rip of EE, with a key provided {PS: i had EE but lost the 1st disc and key, im not a freeloader})

but i turned off defend on the AI bu it kept pulling back, and the pop limit or something caused it to kill off some of its units every now and then.

Someone please play it and either review or at least tell me the AI ddnt screw up.
aLteC teK play with the trigger system, thats how i learned
dont be afraid to ask questions either
im too busy to really design now, but im around once in a while to check out what you all make.

can somebody post a review or at least tell me the AI isn't working like it's on crack?
aLteC teK im having problems downloading any files from here right now. best advice i can give you is to start with easier triggers like:

Class Name (Objext)
Task Object
Task Area
Unit Attribute

If you impose some of these into a basic scenario, the enjoyability of the scenario rises drastically. Once you're familiar with Object and Media effects, you can then work with camera scripting, AI, and advanced cinematic.

Start small.
