Everyone who has played EE has their own playing style. This includes their favorite units, whether they like to trade, if they build lots of fortifications, and much more.
In EEI it was easy to make a custom civ that played to your strategy perfectly, but in EEII you don't have that option. You must choose from 14 different pre-made civs. In a casual game, you'll usually just go for your favorite, or the ones with the cool units. If you want to be more competitive, though, you need a civ that will help you with things you actually do - e.g. not one that pumps up your heavy infantry if all you ever use is tanks.
This is a 23-question quiz, written in Microsoft Excel, that can help you determine which civs best fit your playing style. Answer the questions in the grey boxes, and a series of mathematical formulas take all the answers and rate each civ based on how much it contributes to your strategies. For example, if you answered on the quiz that you use lots and lots of fortifications, that would give the Turks a higher score, because their civ decreases the costs of walls.
Once you fill out all the answers, scroll down to the 'Results' section. Each civ has a rating in several different epoch ranges. Find the epoch range closest to the one you'll be playing in, and find the highest scores. The quiz cannot be exactly right, of course, so I recommend that you take the top two or three and test them out to see which you like best. |

Thanks, Commando.
Also, for everyone who downloads this, please try it and post the results here. Both Commando and I got Far East civs, and I'd like to make sure that there aren't any errors in the formulas that might be skewing the results and giving the East an advantage. |

I suggest check the expansion of EE2, in this game you can make your own civilization and chose many cualities for exaple the unique units, the name of civilization, names of cities, territories, etc.
And of course you can select new civilizations: africans.
Is interesting your quiz but I don´t understand how can I make the result. (I´m sorry T_T) |

Ah, that's interesting, I don't have the expansion, maybe I need to get it :).
To find the results, you scroll to the end of the questions and find the table labeled "Results!" Just post up the civ with the highest score under the 11-15 epoch category. |

Oh, I see... aztecs! my fav. civilization! XD Thanks.
And yes, I suggest check the expansion, appera many changes (for example... new civilizations, in your soldiers will appear a "hero", you can have a heroe from different kind of units (light and heavy infantry and others), for example: it appear when many light infantry or only one unit is a real general, so this unit is now a heroe, is more biggest than the ordinary soldiers, increace the moral (like the general warrior), is more strong and other things.
Other change is the neutral towns, they are not players, well yes, but are independient, is like Rise of Legends, if you declare the war, they will destroyed you or cyou can make an alliance and... they will help you with new and misterius tecnologies.
I recomended check the expansion, is a nice complement... ah, and the game upgrade the graphics, looks better for me. |

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I just made a very slight update, for the Far East civs were in fact getting a 3-point boost they probably shouldn't have.
As for the snow, sorry, I haven't used the EEII scen editor much. You should go make a post on the forums, those people probably know. |
