Bruno here for review!
(Plays EXE 6 Judgeman Theme)
Now seriously, I must say that this scenario is better than your last, but still too easy. For people who want to play this scenario, I tell you it is Build and Destroy. But it's so easy, SO TERRIBLY easy, I don't think it's worth playing again. The scenario is suited in the Bronze Age. Why? Check down!
Playability: 2.5
Okay, down to business. First of all, the scenario isn't fun. You have very strong units, you have better units, you can make more units, the enemy has few units, weaker units, they hardly make any more units, the objectives aren't original and they're too few (i.e.Destroy a capitol). There are no special effects that make the game look worthy. However, this doesn't get a 1 because it's better than other scenarios and perhaps better than your last. But if you do this again, I will not hesitate to put you a 1 in Playability. So in short, not fun.
Balance: 1
Simply too easy to be true. Your enemies are passive, and you're given an infinite number of units (There's a limit, but you can build more and you have an abussive number of resources). I was playing on Hard, mind you. Sorry Jeff, but I'm affraid you're getting a 1 on Balance.
Creativity: 2
Almost no creativity here. The objectives? Nothing original and not even slightly impressive. Map Design? I bet that's not even close to reality. Unimpressive. Story? What story? I didn't get anything. There were no interesting effects/triggers that spiced up the game. Nothing original, so it should have a 1 on here. But I liked the units placement for some reason. One point up._<
Story/Instructions: 3
Not much to say here. Hints were not very useful, and the objectives didn't have an order which confused me. The buildings are not "killed". They're destroyed. There were many spelling mistakes in such short paragraphs and there's no excuse since I know you live in U.S.A., which means english is your first language by default. No map, and the lack of historical accuracy makes it even worse. But the extra sound file elevates your rating, but not by much.
Additional Comments:
Here you go, some useful advices:
*If you can, make some cinematics. It's pretty easy.
*Use eye-candy, combine different classes of terrains and trees, make cities interesting. I know you can do it. Just put more effort into your work.
*Make your scenarios much harder. For example, reduce the number of units for Player 1, increase the number of units for the enemies. In this scenario specifically, making it a Fixed Force scenario would make it harder, and making Player 1 units weaker would be better too. Then it might proove to be a challenge.
*Use Google or whatever other searching device to look for historical information on the subject. Make sure to provide as much background information as possible. Some people, like me, just love to read and expand our minds.
I guess that's all. Please, do take my opinions as suggestions. Meanwhile, I cannot recommend this scenario. Sorry.
Okay, WHAT THE HELL?!? It's the third time a review/comment of mine appears weird.>_<
I'll update it in a near future.[Edited on 09/11/06 @ 06:40 PM]

Playability: This Scenario is basically a destroy scenario. I think this is categorized as a build and destroy, but it is not.
But anyway. This scenario was definitely not much fun to play. Basically because its just like a random map game. BUT without any building up phase or any need for strategy, tactics. You have to destroy the Helviti Capitol. And then the Spartan Capitol.Too obvious. This was just like the aim of a random map. I've played your scenario three times and always won the same way twice. My third try was faster then the others before because I found out that you can declare war on Sparta without being attacked by them. AND since I don't exactly know where I should add this. So I'll tell in Playability. You gave every player in your scenario a civilization and so Helveti were Austrians, Sparta were "Neigi" (What are Neigi???). Keep in mind. There's an awesome Civilization creating tool in Empire Earth. So if you really want to give every player in your scenario, create correct civilizations with correct names(I won't deduct points for that). So this scenario gets a 2.8 rating.
Balance: Probably the worst part of the whole scenario. Your scenario was way too easy. I ve played three times and always won without a single casualty. I think that's everything I can say. 1.0. Sorry.
Creativity: Review Guidelines clearly say: Good rating for map tricks, map design, victory conditions, placed units. So the only creative "feature" was the idea of letting Athenians fight against Helveti, who had their territory in the area where we now can find Switzerland. Map design was like a random map but even a bit worse. Unit use was not creative either. Available Athenian units are phalanx, royal guards, archer elephants (why no archers?). Spartan units: shortswords, Persian immortals. Helveti were copper units.
Was OK 2.1
Map Design: I think you took a random map and altered it a bit. Athens was a square with cobblestone and some buildings. Same is true for Sparta. Helveti territory had no eyecandy at all (not even a tree). buildings were randomly placed. One question: what were those strange "swimming pools" around Helveti towers?. If you design an Athens scen, you should at least consider the fact that Athens had a harbour. Have a look at the Greek Campaign. It contains quite a lot of good maps of Greece. My rating for Map design is 1.8 for a not well altered random map with some extra units.
Story/Instructions: Since they were very basic and full of spelling mistakes I'll post them here so you can see yourself.
Instruction/Objectives: In the years that followed the Fall of the Assryan Empire Athens begain to rise from the dirty hovels from whence it came. Athens at the time was ruled by a king who want on a journey to Italia(italy) And in his absence he left a Senetor in charge. However his brother King Necomedes was jelous of Athens and wanted to sieze it for his own. However unless Athens was distracted there was no chance of him conquoring Athens so he gave up.
Kill the Helviti Capitol
Kill King Necomede's
Kill the Spartian Capitol
Hints:
Your units are upgraded to a trong level use them.
Wait for the cinimatic instruction before you pursue and future goals.
The Helviti are strong and they will not surrender easily.
Rember do things in order.
History:
Athens prospered for a long time after the peloponesian war and had a great boost in technology. Its king was fair and just however the Spartian king was cruel and hated anyone who was better then him includeing his brother.
THAT'S IT so I give a 2.0 rating. For your History/ Instructions.
Additional Comments: Nothing special[Edited on 02/04/07 @ 01:10 PM]
