In 1846, the US and Mexico had a dispute over the border of Texas, and troops were sent from both sides to secure the land for themselves. Tragically, war broke out when a unit of Mexican dragoons engaged an American patrol near the Rio Grande.
General Zachary Taylor departed and after capturing the town of Matamoros, war was declared on Mexico.
Play as Zachary Taylor and Winfield Scott to triumph over Mexico in such battles as Monterrey, Buena Vista, and Veracruz and to reach the ultimate goal: Mexico City.
I'm having a problem playing it. I cant download it right. I download it into Sierra/Data/EE Art of Conquest or EE/Scenarios.

Good ,hard but winnable
Good, there are few scenarios on mexican american war

The best I have seen uptill now for EE.Newbies should note how he has done the map because it is quite good.
Instructions were ok,although since the cities didn't have specific names , it was hard to know which cities to attack. The disappointing part was there was no background story. Even though through cinematics it was told, it wasn't done effectively.
Other than the story and instructions , this was a reasonably well done scenario.I recommend it for downloading

This was a very refreshing scenario to play. It reminded me of the old Empire Earth campaigns that came with the game. The objevtives were basic, easy to follow, and very fun.
This was a clasic example of a "fixed force" scenario, where you go around to places on the map, crushing enemy armies. It was however, slightly easy, and could have used more cinematics.
I don't think I've come across any other scens. on the Mexican American War, so this was quite interesting to see this (specifically because I'm Canadian, and don't know American history very well!)

Excellent! I really like the cactuses you used to complete the look of the desert! This was the shining feature in the game keep up the quality map designs!
The instructions were very basic, clearly outlined, and simple for a change. There was a lack of storyline, but I think the paragraph in the history section made up for it. One thing you might want to do is add a map (JPEG for example) in the download for a background so players know what city to go to when you instructed to do so.
Great work! I'm looking forward to playing more of your scenarios ints he future if they're of this same quality!
