The Alamo v1.0(COMPLETE)

Author File Description

Needs AoC?: No
This is the complete version of my v1.0 Alamo scenario. There were no posts for the other Alamo scenario so I did't add anything. I just fixed a lot of triggers and stuff. The cinematic ending are being put off until a later version is released because my computer doesn't co-operate with script camera hence the snap cinema at the begining of the game. Enjoy! V2.0 due out when enough suggestions are posted.

Goods - It was really fun to play! There were lots of ways to beat it, and many battles to fight. It was satisfying each time I walked away from a battle with another victory. Also, all the fields for the story, hints etc. were filled with extraordinary detail. Great job! And the idea of the Alamo is also original--a relief from WWII scenarios.

Bads - It was too easy to play, as opposed to what the scenario instructions said and what the other guys below me said. All i did was use the surplus of civ points to upgrade all my bombards' attributes, then won the game without losing a single bombard and without cheating. Also, the rest of the map was pretty blank, although it was somewhat filled in by hills and trees. But the city itself was somewhat beautiful, especially the spring.

Plot - The Texans have lived in Mexico for quite a while now, and the harsh Mexican rule has made the residents rebel. One of the battles between the Texans and Mexicans is the Alamo.

Conclusion - A great leap forward for Scn_Creator. The difficulty and map design could still be worked on a little, but I'm very happy to see that his scenarios are not just ones where you fight and there's no triggers.
Dr Lorenzo Okay guys, let's not have the doting one line reviews.
